Rebuilding Philadelphia - This Weekend and Next!

This year Rebuilding Philadelphia celebrates its 25th anniversary as a student club. Last year several hundred students participated over the course of the two weekends. It’s a once-a-year opportunity to volunteer with friends, your classmates, fellow club members, and students from other Penn graduate schools. And, you’ll learn valuable home improvement skills at the same time!

This weekend and next weekend, we'll carry out essential home repairs to 12 houses in the West Philadelphia neighborhood of Mantua, just a few blocks north of campus. No home improvement experience is necessary. Skilled contractors provide instruction & oversight to all volunteers. Signup here! http://whartondesignclub.us3.list-manage.com/track/click?u=d073e07989ca2b0053218c9de&id=6273edea8d&e=4b88744fb2

3rd Annual Crawl to the Delaware

It's finally that time of year again, time for the courageous journey to drink our way from river to river across Philadelphia! We'll leave from PennDesign Happy Hour and by the end of the night will end on the banks of the Delaware. The prize for making it across the city, hitting every notable bar along South street? A delicious, artery clogging meal, paid for by the drunk version of yourself, at the South Street Diner, the place where dreams are born.

Each bar will generally get 30 min. This may vary as the night goes on, but generally we attempt to stick to this timetable so we go the distance. No crybabies. If you don't like it, you're more than welcome to fall behind and attempt to catch up later.

The Tentative Bar Crawl List: * PennDesign (@ 9ish. Go earlier if you want to eat here) * Grace Tavern * [Omega Pizza is here. Stop for delicious shitty pizza and or road beers] * Ten Stone * Bob & Barbara's * Possibly Cambridge * Percy Street BBQ * Tattooed Moms * Manny Brown's * And potentially, the Infamous, Fat Tuesday
