We hope you had a great, sunny break. Spring is upon us; time to recruit, party, and start the countdown to graduation, or an exciting internship. We have great events this week, and a bunch of them are related to portfolio and brand building, along with a networking expo for those of you looking for work either full time or an internship.

Still looking for a summer internship or full time opportunity? Wharton Career Management is hosting a networking expo next Friday, 3/28, in New York, and at least two innovation firms will be there, including co:collective and SY Partners.

This event is open to both first and second year students who are interested in industries and/or companies who have a more enterprise recruiting strategy such as startups, media, technology, and retail firms. At this event you will have the opportunity to network directly with representatives from companies who are actively pursuing MBA talent for both internship and full-time opportunities.

Scale/Scope will empower design students to engage their social agenda through combining a high-level symposium with student workshops. We want to create a new value proposition for design education - to make a public case for engaging in broad social agendas that deliver charged, meaningful projects with a wide and ambitious scope.

This guy started a nationally recognized clothing brand in NoLibs with no money, an illegal store in his apartment, and a bulldog. Ears Perked. Seun Olubodun, founder of Duke & Winston, has great stories to tell you and will give you coveted tips about how to build a brand from the ground up, in a market with a lot of competition, with limited funds, in the city of Brotherly Love. He’ll tell some stories, we’ll drink some beer, you’ll ask anything you want, and it’ll be grand.
