** Member Spotlights: recommended TED videos

If you find 15 minutes of down time in your busy days, here are a few procrastination aids. We asked a few of our board members what their favorite TED videos are, and here are the results:

Anjali Bahtia and Yoshi Araki recommend Simon Sinek: How great leaders inspire action (http://www.ted.com/talks/simon_sinek_how_great_leaders_inspire_action.html)

Jennifer Stephens loves Barry Schwartz: The paradox of choice (http://www.ted.com/talks/barry_schwartz_on_the_paradox_of_choice.html) because “I think it is helpful as we think about the glut of products & services in the market today and what that means for consumers making decisions.”

Glory Nguyen says “This is how I think about Design” about Don Norman’s: 3 ways good design makes you happy (http://www.ted.com/talks/don_norman_on_design_and_emotion.html)

Jessica Park selected this video: Brian Goldman: Doctors make mistakes. Can we talk about that? (http://www.ted.com/talks/brian_goldman_doctors_make_mistakes_can_we_talk_about_that.html) because “It was both startling and fascinating to listen to because as a former consultant, I'm used to a culture of constant feedback. He's also an incredible speaker”

Glory Nguyen says “This is how I think about Design” about Don Norman’s: 3 ways good design makes you happy (http://www.ted.com/talks/don_norman_on_design_and_emotion.html)

Jenny Wang picked a short video on William Kamkwamba: How I built a windmill (http://www.ted.com/talks/william_kamkwamba_on_building_a_windmill.html)

Enrique Gómez is a big fan of Bjarke Ingels' talks because he goes into a lot of detail on his firm's easy-to-understand design process. This is an oldie but a goodie: Bjarke Ingels: 3 warp-speed architecture tales (http://www.ted.com/talks/bjarke_ingels_3_warp_speed_architecture_tales.html)
